I used to have a Sony 27" but it started to mess up so I had to get a new TV.So I went to Circuit City and I bought a Samsung TXR3265.

    Samsung 32" HDTV Monitor (TX-R3265)
    • 32" DynaFlat™ screen
    • A/V versatility
    • 4H digital comb filter

    • HDTV monitor
    • Velocity scan modulation
    • 1080i resolution

    summary:
32" flat screen: Enjoy a great picture from a stylish display. Samsung's DynaFlat™ screen not only minimizes distortion and glare—it also increases the viewing angles, so you get a perfect view from anywhere in the room.

HDTV monitor: Just hook up an HD receiver to experience the stunning clarity offered by high-definition programming.

Improved picture: The 4H digital comb filter and velocity scan modulation deliver crisp images, while Digital Signal Processing processes analog signals to digital format. 3:2 pull down technology keeps movies looking their best.

A/V inputs: A full array of A/V inputs—including component video—guarantee sharp, smooth images from digital video sources like DVD players and satellite receivers.

Video presets: Choose from four different presets for the perfect picture settings.

Audio presets: Five different sound modes—including a custom setting—help deliver the perfect audio type for whatever you're watching.

Ok so I only paid $579.97 plus tax it was $632.92 open box.The guy told me that it was just open like 4 weeks ago.Problem is weak sound when playing Halo. Its like getting a stock car and trying to bump your fav Hip-Hop CD,That loussy. The color is way off, even when trying different modes, it never looks good comparaid to my old 1998 Sony Wega and its not even HDTV.Sony's color modes are assum Playing Xbox looks great...Even Halo.Samsung ...ummm lets just say that Halo was never meant to be played that way...The worst thing is that the picture has static in the background. At first I thought it was the cable reception and Im like I'll play some anime and other stuff.I have dl anime and tried it and it looks bad.So then i tried the Matrix DVD original and I still see satic.Dam Samsung sucks..

Keep in mind I work 12 hours from 5am to 5:30pm I don't get home till 6:00pm,So TV is all I got when I get home.Im looking for something in the price range of $632.92 with tax HDTV or not.But quality must look sweet.Oh yea I have a week to return it so be quick.

What kind of [bold]cables[/bold] are you using to connect your XBox to your display? Does your display have some kind of a steady sound feature? If it does and it's set to on, try turning it off. Is the XBox the only device you have connected to your display? If not, is it the only one that gives you shitty sound?
