I have just 1 main goal with my PS3: -Be able to play PS2 and PS3 games from an external hard-drive. So I guess that goes without saying that I want to be able to back-up my PS3 games onto the hard-drive if possible. What is the best way to go about this? Could I still go online with the PS3? Also, I wish to accomplish the same thing with my Wii(play gamecube/wii on external) and Xbox 360(play xbox/360 on external). Thank you .
being able to play PS2 games on my PS3 through a hard-drive isn't possible? CECHA01 3.60 and CECHL01 4.31 Do I have to downgrade or are there is an updated CFW?
On the CECHA it could work: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=8791 You need to downgrade to 3.55 in order to install any CFW, even the 4.xx ones. I hope you are good at soldering.
I can tell you how to play wii games from an external hard drive. I haven't figured out how to play gamecube games though.
