new to psx. help please

    i just got a psx emulator and i need to put cd images on it. but what game system is psx? is it ps2? if so then i have games i can load into it, but how? thanks. im just new to the whole psx thing

    I thought you knew this...psx=ps1 there isn't a working ps2 emulator, just a few sorry attempts and a load of virus code!! To make the images you need alcohol120%..select image making wizard..then choose .ccd and click the box "read subchannel data" In the compatability box at the bottom choose "playstation" and then sit back and wait for a while..you end up with 2 files.. the big one is what you ftp into the psx disks folder in the emulator..if you got it right it will list in the "select game" menu expect to have to mess with the emu settings to get it to run well and look good..some games just don't work at all so try a few..You also need the ps1 bios..you can find it if you look hard enough.. it's called scph-1001

    ok cool thanks. ya i forgot there wasnt a ps2 emulator. but iv still got my ps1 and games so ill work on that.

    ok i just got the bios, but where do i put it?
