Is it really necessary to make a thread everytime there is an update?

Well it helps me, for some reason the update does not come through on my email even though I have the spam control turned off for it. When it is posted I know right away :)

Everytime I log onto the internet & there is a new version, a little box tells me!

I do not have mine set to autostart with the computer, the box will pop up if I manually open the program but that is only if I am using it, which I don't always.

Same here....damn things always popping up with an update, it's worse than AVG.

Threads like these ONLY irritate people if you click on them and read. I am sure, if you find reading these posts creates problems for you, and since you already know there is an update, you would be better served, passing these threads by. I find comments that reading certain posts irritate people, irritating, when the simple solution is not to read the posts to begin with. PLUS, it saves you time, because you do not have to respond and let others know, you read a post, you already knew was going to be a problem for you to beging with.
