Ok, i screwed up my v1.0 mobo and i was wondering if i can just buy a new mobo or would i have to buy a whole new HDD? Your replies would be greatly appritiated! Thank you.
If you replace a motherboard, you should buy a combo pack of the mb/hdd to ensure compatibility. Taking a hdd from one xbox and a mb from another will not work, the EEPROM must be the same or you'll get a fragging xbox with error code 6 I believe.
