new video card

    thanks for the reply.
    his motherboard is definitely compatible with PCI express cards so there's no problem there.
    he has a 420 watt thermal master PSU. will this be enough to handle that card?

    I've not heard of Thermalmaster. If you mean Thermaltake it could be alright, but it depends which model. a TR2 will be fine, but a PurePower won't. To be on the safe side I would buy either an Antec Earthwatts 380W or Corsair VX 450W.

    If I have to buy a new PSU then my overall budget would go down, the PSU is made by CoolerMaster and come in case packages.

    Do you think it would be very reliable?

    Coolermaster's PSUs are OK, they're not what I'd buy, but you could do a lot worse.
