New xbox 360 slim

    hi guys,
    i just a xbox 360 slim 5 days ago and i took it to a local modder ,he opened the xbox and said that is could not be modded...
    i m a newbie and dont know anything about modding

    I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING THE NET FOR 2 DAYS .EVERYTHING I FIND IS EITHER FAKE OR TOO CONFUSING

    all i want to know is:-
    1. can it be modded?
    2.if no, what r the alternatives
    3. if yes, a link to the guide

    If your slim has any of the following drives: Lite-On 1175 or Hitachi 0500/
    0502 then your slim cannot be modded at this time.

    What's the best way to find out what drive I have?

    Thats a very old, outdated list that has nothing to do with slim 360's, thanks for your effort though.

    Here is a better list that pertains to slims

    If your drive is among those that can have the key extracted then your options are xk3y, wasabi, or the glitch hack I believe.
