my current drive i deem to be well and truely fragged. So i need a new one, the current one is the Hitachi LG and yeah i assume i need one the same? idk, looking for some guidance on that issue.

If someone could give me some advice it'd be much appreciated, links to sites to buy would also greatly help =) keeping in mind that im an aussie so australian sites would naturally be cheaper.

    thx

They're not region locked at all. As long as it's a compatible drive, you should be okay.

If you're looking for a cheap solution, read this topic about using a cheap Samsung drive that works better than the stock Xbox DVD-ROMs.
