Hi. I have succesfully ripped, shrunk and burned several DVD movies that i own Itried to backup three movies yesterday- and EVERY disc since has failed (DVD-R) I'm up to 15 coasters now I have re ripped/shrunk etc these three films several times using various methods and combos using the guides on here to no avail. ALL of the video files are fine. BUt when I use Nero6.3.1.17 i am having persistent failures. I thought it might be the movies I ripped/shrunk so I tried some I have succesfully done already. THEY ALSO FAIL NOW!!! ???? Can anyone advise please? Well I don't mean to sound rude but have a look here................http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487 Draw your attention to number 5.......... Attempting to copy those is considered piracy and will not be discussed in this forum my friend.... Do not take this personally, but it is always advised to read these rules BEFORE posting a thread...... This thread will probably be closed soon, so before others come in and lynch you, submit an apology and ask for closure - this may safe guard you in being banned...............just trying to be helpful........as others will not be.....
baabaa: hmm maybe not the smartest move on my part then.... sorry. although CD-R burns fine.. i await my roasting
You won't get a roasting.....lol, just post an apology to the moderators, stating that you have indeed made a slight mistake and that you request that the thread to be closed and deleted..... Plenty of newbies make this mistake, and sadly get totally lynched for it and we never see them again, or they then just hurl loads of abuse - resulting in getting banned..........not good publicity to this forum as it has a very high standard of knowledgable users and it can only increase in size if new members come onboard - and observe the rules........ Anyway welcome aboard, and I am sorry I could not provide you with information, but hopefully you can start up a new thread correctly.........
sorry mods' lock it plz will try to backup some DVD's i own and will post once i have more (legal) proof of my problem. Ta. Brad
