Well Here it goes. When you plug the iPod in the computer, and then go to My Computer, and u see the IPOD as a storage device. Well in there, should there be any folders in there???Because i bought one from a friend and i see folders inside but want to erase them, and im asking if i can. first you gotta set your ipod to disk drive by holding the menu and center button at the same time, when the ipod turns off, immediately release menu and hold play and center button until you see a check mark on the ipod screen, you now open itunes 7.5 is the newest and itunes will see the device and ask if you want to restore it, say yes and wait for itunes to restore the ipod onces is done your back and running.
