I have v1.5 and obviously want to run homebrew, I just downloaded 3.52 M33. But what exactly do I do with it? (what folders in it do I use and where do I put them?) there are folders in the download, 1 is 1.5only and the other is M33CREATOR do I need to use both?

Since your at 1.50 official firmware you will need to use the 1.50 Only files first.

Connect your PSP to your PC via USB.

Place the 2 folders that are in the 1.50 Only folder named "kxploitpatcher" and "kxploitpatcher%" in the PSP/GAME folder.

Now download 1.50 and 3.52 official PSP firmware.

    3.52 firmware HERE

    1.50 firmware HERE

Rename the 3.52 firmware to 352.PBP and rename the 1,50 firmware to 150.PBP and place both of them in the M33 Creator folder.

Now place the M33 creator folder in the PSP/GAME folder on the MS.

Now go to your Games Memory stick on the XMB and run KXploit Permanent Patcher.

After it patches and returns to the XMB go to Games Memory stick again and run the M33 Creator.

When the creator finishes go back to Game Memory stick again and run the M33 update that was just created.

Now you are at 3.52 M33 firmware.

After upgrading to the 3.52 M33 CFW you will want to update to 3.52 M33 update 4 which you can get HERE

Before updating I would format your memory stick. After you format your memory stick place the PSP folder that came with the M33 update 4 on your MS then go to Games memory stick and run the M33 update.

You place the PSP ISO files in the ISO folder and the PSX files into the PSP/GAMES folder.

Then run the games by going to GAMES then to memorey stick on the XBE.

But first lets get you upgraded to CFW.

Can you run ISOs from the PSP/ISO folder, i didn't think you could...

And whats the XBE, don't you mean XMB?

    Yeah I meant the XMB

I always place my PSP ISO files in the ISO folder to run them. If I place them in any other folder they will not run.

PSP ISO files in the ISO folder

PSX games in the PSP/GAME folder

    Emulators in the PSP/GAME150 folder

that is how i do it.

Right, so you put them in ms0:/ISO, not ms0:/PSP/ISO. Because you said PSP/ISO up there... or did you mean PSP as ms0? Hehe, sorry for the questions, just wondering what you meant to say :p

Yeah I meant the ms0:ISO folder.

I guess I need to pay more attention to what I type. In any case there is no ms0:/PSP/ISO folder so i would hope they would realize that and put them in the ms0:/ISO folder.

Ahh ok :) It just puzzled me that an Addict got something simple wrong (Don't mean to be rude).

Just because I am an addict doesn't mean I am perfect. Most of my post are posted in the DVD backup/Wii section anyway.

The only thing I got wrong was the directory of the ISO folder and the XMB which where an over site.

Everything else (the important stuff) was correctly given.
