newbi ? Can i erase a dvd-rw that had a burn error

    Hey. My computer keeps freezing and im courious if i can erase my dvd RW disk. Nero has it faded out(ERASE OPTION). AM I just up $hit creek?

    If the disc is good you can record over what is on the disc recording program will over write the disc

    Nero is supposed to see your RW and ask if you want to erase before burning. I just did a RW today and even though the disc was empty, nero wanted to format it anyway.
    A free program will erase a RW for you (it used to be free, im not sure now). DVDInfoPro . I have the paid for version. I use it to re-format and erase RW discs.
