i wanted to say i enjoy the site and thanks for having me.

i had a question which is better to use bit torrents or newsgroups?? i hear alot of talk about both but i dont really know which is better.

I don't know how to use either and I have belonged to this site for a while now and still don't understand it.

 

i feel you man, i'm trying to learn as we speak lol, there is alot of info here which i learned about bit-torrents, but the newsgroup thing i just dont understand ??? i wanted to see if it was better so i may try and learn it.

 

newsgroup??? i never heard of them. i dont like torent... all mine are in rar

 

what do you mean rar? dont the movie downloads from torrent sites come in rar format ???

 

.rar is like a .zip file. It is just a compressed file archieve. But I have tryed a torrent before and didn't understand how to use bittorrent so I gave up. And newsgroups, I have no idea.

 

I like torrents cuz ez to use. its like using a download program. its a shame not many ppl know about it.

but then again i've never tried newsgroups

 

im using the torrents now and i cant burn the download, and i read the turtorial...
