So, I thought it would be fun to make a svcd. 1. I tried the trial version of U-Lead DVD Movie factory but the svcd plays choppy picture and sound in my dvd player. According to the http://www.dvdrhelp.com database and the manual, my dvd player should be able to play them. It won't play at all in the player(s) on my computer. 2. I tried this guide: http://www.gkhull.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/avitosvcdguide.htm and I got the exact same results. 3. I tried the trial version of NERO 6 and I got the same results. NOTE: I made a bunch of svcd's using different files. I downloaded a sample svcd ( from http://www.dvdrhelp.com/svcd.htm ) and burned it to a svcd and go the same results. NOTE: I have the Panasonic RV-32 dvd player NOTE: I have the ATI 7.6 VCD player NOTE: I have Windows Media Player 9 NOTE: I have Windows 2000 My question: What do you think is the problem?
Well, I figured out the problem. My dvd player can't play svcd's and the ati player on my computer doesn't work either. So, after I made a vcd I could play it on my dvd player. I also downloaded WIN DVD and it plays everything no problem on my pc.
