    Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help translate this for me. I'm trying to convert some files from .avi format so it's playable as a DVD on a Memorex DVD-R. I've already encoded the .avi to both an .ISO and the 2 folders needed to burn into a DVD (AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS). I've been trying various burning applications with no success. The following are 2 messages I received from ImgBurn when I was trying to burn with it.
    They are seperated by ---.

    I/O Error!

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

I would try some 'Verbatim' brand disks with a burn setting of 4x (or half the maximum shown on the label)instead of the 'Memorex'.
That way you can eliminate the media as the source of the problem.

Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, and Sony are better quality of media than those Memorex which typically code out as CMC MAG; bottom of the proverbial blank media barrel.
