Hi there, I recently bought a XBOX system. While touring the world, I bought some xbox games from Asia. However, i cannot play these games on my xbox system. I believe, I need some chip that will make my xbox region free or allow me to play PAL games (this is what the guy who sold the games told me; however, i do not know which chip it is?). I tried to search forums, but I could not find something that will address my questions (all the mods guides/discussions are above my head). All I want is to enable my XBOX to play games from anywhere in the world. I do not want any other mods like larger hdd, better dvd-rom, and etc. I would appreciate your help and time.... Thank you
hiya you want to chip you xbox ........? you need to find out what version your xbox is first ...... this will determine what chips will be compatable with your xbox .... if you need help on finding your xbox version give us a shout

all u need is an xecuter 3 chip it is compatiable with all xbox versions 1.0-1.6 I have the chip and it is AWESOME!!! If you are not willing to spend the money then you will have to find out your xboxs version. And the only way to one hundred percent figure that out is to open it which will void your warrenty but if you are going to chip it anyway it will get voided eventually. You can see how to do this on http://www.xbox-scene.com or http://teamxecuter.com There is a way to see what version you have by the serial code but that i snot full proof so your best bet is to find out your version or just get an xecuter 3 chip.
