I try to back up my DVD's
I have DVD-R's that I am trying to burn to. I have a Malata DVD Player
I use Nero 6.6 Ultra ( Recode )and DVDCSS running in background.
I add main movie title (TS) and remove subtitles etc. so it can fit on disk. All seems to go well then.....ten disks later....nothing......it doesn't work. I am so frustrated, can you help this girl that has a huge headache now? Thanks guys :)

You need to download DVD Decrypter to work with Nero Recode. Program is available at

    http://www.filepedia.com

look under rippers. Rip your movie to your hardrive, and then proceed with using Nero Recode. Or you can download the trial version of AnyDVD availble at

    http://www.slysoft.com

and use this in conjunction with Nero Recode.

What is the difference in using DVD+R or DVD-R?

    DVD-R:
Benefits: Better DVD playback compatiblity within home DVD players.
Drawbacks: Older technology and less money behind the format means that they come out with faster media and burner technology slower. You will frequently see DVD burners that will support (for instance) 16X DVD+R and only 8X DVD-R.

    DVD+R:
Benefits: Faster speeds, more inovations like Double Layer discs (8.5 GB)
Drawbacks: Will not play is some home DVD players. If you know your home DVD player will play DVD+Rs then there is no reason to not use them
