I just got a 360 do u need a chip to be able to backup games and play them or not because i been seen people talking about a samsung dvd rom and a firmware that u dont need a chip if theres a way do do it without the mod can any one teld me what do i need ....
posting in the correct section would help you a lot more, but to flash the firmware it all depends on what disk drive you have, the hitachi's are easier from what i have heard, you can flash them from windows, the samsungs have to be flashed from dos using mtkflash or sometihng of the like, but if you mess up flashing either of them, kiss them goodbye, you just screwed up the drive, but if it works, you can play anything you want...
