Newbie looking for help... please help me

    I am new here and I need help!!! I have .asf and .wmv movie clips files and I want to convert ( to vob or etc...) them so I can burn them on DVD... (so they will play like a DVD movie) how can I convert them??? What program should I use??? Please give me a step by step... any information would be GLADLY accepted..... thanks!!!!!!
