Hi guys! I'm looking to get myself a laptop but know next to nothing about hardware or what brands of computers are good. If anyone could suggest me something that fits the following requirements (give or take) that would be great! ~ Windows XP or Vista ~ At least a Pentium 3, 1.5GHz ~ At least a 200gb Hard Drive ~ Min. 1024x768 Resolution ~ A graphics card good enough to run games 4 or 5 years old if possible. ~ Wireless internet conncection Basically I'm going to be using it for word processing, internet and playing older games. Thanks for any advice, and if you could give me a rough price estimate, that would be awesome!
Games is the only tricky part of that, the rest of the specs are pretty standard fare for all laptops these days. Which country are you in?
if going for new laptop then won't be p3 as haven't made those in a few years. will have vista if not win7 if bought after oct of this year. will want at least 2 to 3 gigs of ram for vista\win7 32bit or more for 64bit. they all come with builtin in wireless for the past 2 plus years.
