newbie needs help with xbox ftp

    i need help with ftp i am trying to connect to my xbox. i have a high speed connection ,rouhter,and a cable connected to my xbox. i have evox too.i cant find a simple program. plz help me!!!!!!!

    do you need a program to connect to the xbox? use flashFXP.

    you need to use flash fxp then connect your xbox directly to pc via a cross over cable then you need to set up your network card to connect to your pc put the subnet mask in and ip addy you want to conect to
    then open flash fxp and put in the password and user name for your xbox and the ip of it aswell then hey presto you are in

    then the xbox should grab an IP on it's own if the router is set up as DHCP and you have the evox.ini set to static:no - might want to check seamonkey's guide, he goes into this with clear explination

    my xbox grabs the ip put i dont know how to set up the ftp

    get flashFXP. go up to "connect" and it will give you a box asking for the IP, user name (xbox), and password(xbox). do that then your in.
