Hello All, I've been backing up my discs for a few weeks now. My PC has had no problems at all reading the retail discs that I'm ripping from. All my copies play fine on all 3 of my home DVD players, but some of my copies are getting a "No Disc" error on my PC. Not all of them, but some. Also, If I keep ejecting the disc and restarting it I can sometimes get them to play. Now here's the funny thing... I can play ALL my backups with PowerDVD, even when DVDShrink & Windows Media Player have the "NO Disc" error. Any suggestions?
Actually the same thing happens to me. I can play all my backup DVD's with Intervideo WinDVD Player. But when i try to open with Windows Media Player I get error. Lol. Sounds funny to me. I'm hoping someone leads us both in the right direction.
Perhaps a codec problem with Winmedia? http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...AC-0AB6-4990-943D-627E6ADE9FCB&displaylang=en or if your gun-shy of Microsoft: http://www.free-codecs.com/Windows_XP_Video_Decoder_Checkup_Utility_download.htm
