Hi - I'm new to the forum and new to burning DVDs! Can anyone please help me with this problem? I've been burning downloaded episodes of my favourite TV show onto DVD-R - I downloaded them, converted them from avi using WinAvi - the only thing is, when I burn them using Nero I get a pop up message about "your material is mostly in NTSC format - if you use current settings your project will be PAL format...." or something like that. Anyway, I burned them in NTSC and the audio sync was pretty badly off. So I burned them again in PAL and the audio sync was perfect. So, I thought, great, thats worked. Then today, when I went to make another copy. I burned them in PAL again and now there is no audio whatsoever on 4 of the 5 episodes! 1 episode is perfect. So, tried again, burned in NTSC and sound is back on all episodes, but audio sync is out again. So I tried a single movie. Burned it in NTSC and the audio was all out of sync. Burned it in PAL - no audio at all. I feel like giving up at this stage! Can anyone tell me why the sound has disappered when I burn using PAL? This never used to happen! I burned PAL before and it was perfect!
Wierd, I have never seen that prompt before, Nero shouldn't really care if it is in NTSC or PAL. anyways, not a big fan of WinAVI, for a lot of reasons. Try this out http://freedownload.softonic.de/windows/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_0.52.99.exe After it converts it to DVD, remember to create an AUDIO_TS folder in the movie folder and burn the movie with Nero. See how that goes for you, works for me every time. Regards C|F
