Can I play dvd+r dl in any dvd player or do they need to be booktyped to dvd-rom?

If so, can I do this with standalone clonedvd2 or will i need dvddecryptor or some such program?

I was thinking about clonedvd2 because it appears to have an efficient way of managing layer breaks.

    thanks for the help!!!

The playing of a DVD9 (D/L) shouldnt be any different to a DVD5. Depends on your player, some accept +R, some -R and some both. If your player doesnt play the +R format then you can booktype to DVD-ROM
