Please dont laugh at me,, but how would you go about saving DVD's to your computer,, not burning,, but just saving them like a DVD library, similar to the cd saving,, Thank you.
Well ok Not laughing just create a folder and then just copy and paste the dvd folders in the new folder u created thats how its done 101 ciao
Liez4Love, You would be better using DVD Decrypter or the ***now free** DVDFab Decrypter, with DVD Decrypter select "Mode" "File" and select all files and select the "destination" (create your own folder). Easy as. M
Just remember that each movie is going to use approx 4 to 7 Gb of your hard drive space - large hard drive recommended. Use DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink to rip movie to your hard drive and then use program such as Power DVD, Win DVD to playback movie.
if your planning on keeping them on your hard drive, its best to use dvd shrink and get rid of any of the extras and compress the movies. That will save you a lot of space. Personally I would get a dvd burner. I have seen the Pioneer 109 for as little as 60 bucks. But thats up to you. Good luck
Thanks everyone, i understand how to move to files, it was saving them to my hardrive that i wasnt to quite sure of.
HELP!! i saved 28 Days Later via DVD decrypter, and i told it where to save it to, and i told it File mode, and i did it,, and it said it was completed and successful, and then i open it where i saved it at,, and there is a whole bunch of different files all ranging from 22kb to 1mb, and when i click on one to play it,, it does nothing....
them are video and audio ts folders. if you want to view the folders on your computer you can use windvd it will play them. i always rip them to a iso file and view it with a vitural drive such as demon tools hope this helps
Liez4Love If you just want to play one of the files when windows tells you it can not open the file click on the 'select the program from a list' option and open your media player like WMP. To play the whole movie from your pc open your media player of choice and pull in the whole video_ts folder.
Ok, i got that part down on how to play it,, but it is quite a hassle to have to highlight all of the files, and click open, an then choose windows media player,, but w/e thanks guys,, now i can back up my dvds.
not sure if i can add anything of value yet but i saw the title of this thread and couldn't resist popping by. I too prefer to keep stuff on DVD's (to quality ones) as hard drives will always fail. Always...
