Greetings to you all! I'm hoping someone here can help me. I've been using Nero Express to burn some movies I have on my pc, some of which once converted to dvd format convert into 2 folders. I have tried adding the two folders but after clicking on the second one I get the following message "A special entry already present on the target location. Original,Joliet or ISO file names can be identical. Cannot move "VIDEO_TS.BUP to new location", which it then repeats for the rest of the files. Have I done something wrong? Is there a way to fix this? It would be really helpful as I hate wasting a dvd for a single episode of Red Dwarf when I could get a few on each disc. Also since I'm here (probably pushing my luck now, and if so the I most humbly apologise) but is there any way round the fact that I don't seem to be able to make a back up copy of my dvd's due to copyrights? Would like to get copies of some of the ones my ex will be taking when he picks up his stuff lol. Thank you in advance for any and all help. Cheekaboo x
The file names are the same. You can't have 2 files that are both named oh lets say "billy." billy can't have a clone on the same disc. The dvd player would not know which "billy" to load. You can try a re-author using DVD Shrink. That way you will be able to put more than one movie on a disc. As far as backups due to copy protections, both DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter will break the copyright protection on a lot of older DVD's. Decrypter still gets a lot of them though. Both have stopped Development so get AnyDVD for the newer encryptions. Works great. Lots of guides all over this site on using these great apps.
