Newbie with a question.

    Hi there, new here and have a question. I have a sony HC52 and would like to capture videos to my PC a Dell 5100, I have no Firewire port, what do I need? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Hank.

    I just started at this too...but I'm pretty sure you can't capture video to your PC without a firewire port.If your end goal is to simply make DVD's of your video, you could buy a DVD burner that plugs directly to your camera via firewire. Google "Sony VRD MC5".
