hi this is my first time tring to burn dvd, and having trouble.I have downloaded some movies from ares and can't get them burn onto disc. I have nero startsmart, and every time i try to add a movie to burn i get a message that says (no compatible file found)what do i do? thanks for the help. it burned with dvd santa but when i played it back the words are being spoke but their mouths dont move till after. can any one help with this ?
can you actually play and see/hear the movie? if not you dont have the right codecs. check the s/w for a codec pack nero smartstart is just a launcher for the nero suite. what app are you trying to use? the one from nero is nero vision express. maybe try dvdsanta avi2dvd or something as i never really liked nero vision express
Check this site out, they have a free conversion tool DivXTodvd run your movies through it, and then burn with Nero. One point to make, check where the files are downloaded onto your hard drive a dvxtodvd folder is usually made. work from that, otherwise you may find many gigs of space suddenly used up. gringle
