It's been a week or so since I've been on my computer so the first place I checked out was this forum. To no suprise there are still newbs that don't bother to look at stickies or use the search tab. I figured there would be some new info up or new questions to be asked, but instead there are still countless posts about linux, ps3 not showing picture, how to play backups, etc. I'm not a mod and never claimed to be, but damn. Is all this spam really neccessary? As I post this I'm not trying to offend anyone or start an arguement, I'm simply venting my frustration. If you have a linux problem look at the linux stickies. Backups of ps3 games cannot be played. If you want to mod your playstation to play older backups look at the stickies for the swap switch. If your having picture problems try holding the power button down until you hear a beep during power up and it will ask you if you want to use optimal settings. I just posted the answers to the three most asked newb question on this board that are asked 10 times a week.
The bad news is that half the newbs are gonna be too lazy to read your paragraph. Hence, the reason they are newbs.
I wonder as well why so many noobs think their are ps3 backups that work. The PS3 is not going to be cracked for another 3-4 years at the latest.
it doesn't matter what you, i, or anyone else does or says, unfortunately there's always going to be a lot of people here who can't or won't search for themselves. 'fraid it's a fact of life.
