(Newby Q), problem with different types of image iso's help please,

Hi all,

Im new to all this, could anyone help with my problem?

with back-up images that are called for example:
all-codwaw (DVD file)
all-codwaw (image file)

I have no problem burning with Imgburn, all work great, however recently I have seen alot of files like this:

IMAGE (DVD file)
IMAGE.000 (000 file)
these are supposed to be burnt with clonecd however when burnt they just dont work!

Any ideas? I only use Verbatims 2.4x DL's

Im thinking that I need to do something to the IMAGE.000? ive googled for so long my eyes hurt, so help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure if i've seen any files like the second ones or not, don't pay attention to the names that much, however i always use imgburn no matter what. If you don't mind possibly getting a coater i would try image burn on the other file type as well.

I tried burning those images with Imgburn first with no joy, the nfo file that comes with it says burn the Image with clonecd.

I have about 5 on my HDD in this format

they just dont work, Im not doing something right???

 

I'm not sure, I don't ever use clonecd, but there is another forum on here more dedicated to media and burning. Maybe over there they might know more about your specific problem, also what exactly is wrong w/them. Is the burn failing? or are they not recognized by the 360? I suppose its possible you have bad images are you checking them w/ dvd mulleter or xbox backup creator (the images themselves)?
