I've had this problem a couple times now and I'm hoping someone here can help. I've been using the Panasonic DMR-E85H recorder for a couple weeks now to transfer various shows and sporting events to DVD. I made a DVD with two titles -- a basketball game and then the postgame press conference. Everything seemed to dub fine. After finalizing, the game played perfectly but the entire unit froze up when I tried to play the press conference. I had to press open to eject the disc. I tried the DVD in another player and both titles played fine. The other time this occured was with a three title DVD. The first two played fine and the unit froze when I tried to access the third. Can anyone help? Is this part of the U99 problem I've been reading about? I would sincerely appreciate any advice. Thank you.

You say this has happened a couple of times, is it always or just twice? I take it your using DVD-R disks because you finalize them. You could try using a DVD-RW or DVD RAM disk to record, use DVD Shrink to re-author the disk and then burn it to a DVD-R. It might seem a long way round but then it might save you money on coasters.
