Dear All, I will start with an apology as I'm sure this has been covered before. I've now spent two days scouring the net and reading post after post, downloading file after file to try and get my Nero Version 5.10 to read my ogg files when burning direct to CD. I've downloaded the ogg vorbis folder, extracted the ogg.dll files put them in the audio plug ins folder, prefixed them with nx as requested, I've also transfered them without the prefix and on both occasions, nothing! Everytime I drag my ogg files to the opposite window in nero to start listing the tracks for burning it is telling me that nero does not support this file. I know I'm not alone with this problem as I've found similar topics whilst searching yet I guess I'm doing something stupidly wrong. Anybody out there who has a screenshot, or is willing to send me the folder, or can aid in this problem which is now sending me grey and bald would be an absolute lifesaver, I can't begin to describe how I've searched the net looking for an idiots solution to this problem, which is what I obviously need. Thanks for any help in advance Mark
Sorry, I'm rather new in this and I don't use Nero in doing this. But if the problem is simply extracting the audio from a movie, without installing noting new and exotic, what about using TMPGenc (File_MPEG Tools_Simple demultiplex), Virtualdub (File_Open video File and then File_Save WAV) etc?
Thanks to all that have replied so far, alas I'm still in the same situation. In reply to the moderator I believe Nero is not recognising the files. I was told to download the ogg plug in from website neroplugins.cd-rw.org Then extract the dll file with a prefix of lowercase nx to my audio plug in file folder on Ahead/Nero. All sounds pretty straight forward yet for some reason all I'm getting is "Nero doesn't recognise this audio format" for whatever reason the ogg dll is not being picked up. I know I can covert my ogg to MP3 or Wav to get Nero to accept it yet reading all the threads apparantly Nero will accept ogg files for immediate burning so I'm sure it's the case of me doing something wrong. Hope this helps shed some light on things Many Thanks Mark
Dear All Don't desert me! Does nobody burn ogg files to CD directly through Nero, I'm really after some guidance here if at all possible as I'm having no joy at all! Thanks in advance Mark
