    Ok so I found
this tv and It is a good deal, but i am suspicious about the open box thing. It says if you purchase this Open box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE, meaning it is just the item itself. Accessory items are NOT INCLUDED with Open box products. So this means that I won't get a remote, cord, or even a stand for it? Has anyone ordered open box from newegg and if so any opinions would be appreciated. So what do you guys think i should do.

Pick up the phone and call newegg. I doubt that they would sell something you could not use. Or email them!

I personally would not ever consider an open box item.

I will, but NEVER by mail order.

I bought my Sony XBR4 TV as opn box at a substantially discounted price. Enough so that the extended warranty was a "no-brainer".

In the first 3 months the main logic board AND the panel went out, replaced under warranty.

TV is pretty much "like new" now.

    I agree with MysticE

I would never buy an open box item but there are people who do. My brother-in-law got a demo panasonic plasma 42" HD TV from CompUSA before they went belly up and has had no problems.
