Stemming from the recent burn in topic I just came across this offering from Gamestop. http://www.gamestop.com/gs/360/360_dell.asp Well, I guess that settles the debate of newer plasmas getting burn in. They obviously wouldn't offer you a plasma if videogames could hurt it. At least I wouldn't think they'd do something that dumb! Would they?
Nice find TooBokoo! Like I said a while ago, we put Grand Turismo 4 on one of the 43" pioneer plasmas at the store. We had a kid (a customer) that played it all week-end long. I couldn't blame him, the picture was amazing. My boss eventually told him to share the game. My stance is, you have to be a jacka$$ or doing it on purpose to burn-in your screen with these newer plasma sets. If the manufacture will not will cover burn-in nor the store will cover burn-in it must not be that big of a deal! Remmeber, the old CRT technology is also susceptible to burn-in. Who here has burned in thier old tube tv? Ced
