does any1 know if there is any better software available for the box super usb for Ireland? I find that the epg is fairly shite, don't always get channel info so ain't much good to me!!
Thebox SuperUSB_V1.02_beta.BIN is the latest firmware, you will most probably have this on, but worth checking in System Information, as regards the EPG, you would be better advised to have a TV guide to hand, as it has never been to good on any of the Starviews.
to be honest, i've been using the box since last year, never had to do anything with since i got it and the epg was fairly good! I only got and flashed the sv4 box 3 weeks ago and loads of channels are missing channel info but from time to time info shows up. might try a reflash, if that doesn't work... might just plug back in the old reliable box!!!
Yep, if you have the correc time on the box and leave it on a home channel for awhile it does eventually fill up to a degree, but I presume you have the V1.02 firmware on if you only flashed it 3 weeks ago? But it is worth another try and then do a Factory Reset and fresh Installation as you should not be missing as you say "loads of channels".
