Hi all, I've searched the archives but haven't found any current advise. I am new to projectors and would like some advise as to what model second hand projectors are seen as a good first step. I am looking to watch digi telly and dvds in my lounge which is prety bright, (lots of windows), plan to project from the side at about 3 metres from the screen. I am after decent quality, simple set up and operation.

Cheers in advance for any advice!

IMHO, 2nd hand projectors are a dangerous proposition.

I would first suggest you check on the price and availability of the bulbs, since they are expensive and have a limited lifespan.

90 degrees perpendicular to the viewing screen is the ONLY suggested projection position. Anything else will distort.
