Hello all! I'm not new to the whole modding scene as I have already chipped my own Xbox, Ps2, and now Gamecube. I put the qooob case mod and qoob pro chip in and everything is good. I have already uploaded the NGC DEV Ripper v0.2a dol to the chip along with riptool.dol ect... I have burned out some games I already had with success (using Fuji +R 8X). the problem is when I use NGCDEV I only get a connection of about 11.8 Kbs. If I use the qoob's built-in ripper I get about 600 Kbs. I have manualy adjusted my Nic from 10Mbs half and full duplex, and tried automatic detection but nothing improves my speed. I not have any firewalls turned on or antivirus. I don't know what is causing it to be so slow? Any suggestions?
I had this problem too. You have to have a router or something. Look here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/212686. The whole router-buisnes-thing seemed to complicated for me and I just gave up on ncdev ripper v.02a. I justed used the 500kbs ripper. Besides, there aren't a whole lot of good gamecube games to rip-I have about 15 disc and I am bored already.
