hey everyone, i'm having a problem getting my xbox drive to read the games so i can install them on my xbox, using an executer chip and just tryin to install using the software on my xbox. but i cant even do that because it doesnt recognize the disc, any ideas? its the original game not a burnt copy
Sounds like your disk drive may be going bad or the lens might just be dirty. I would say that the disc you're trying is bad but that's rare for both of them to be. I guess I wouldn't rule it out though. If you have another xbox, try the disc in there and see if they work. If so, then you've probably got your problem isolated. Hit up eBay for a new drive.
