Trying for two nights to do a set up & can only get Nick Jnr!!! I would normally laugh but in this case I am bemused!!

Why just one channel out of 170 approx that can be found?!!

 

Would help to no what your trying to set up

ok which starview have you original or 2the box have you all the cables(coax scart ) connected properly

 

I have an original. All cables seem to be connected up fine.

 

Try doing a factory reset and start from scratch,what firmware have you on your box?

 

What is firmware? I have tried a factory re-set a few times. did not realise before but I do have a few more channels. Most of which I have with the regular service. Others I have with the regular service are not working with the box connected.

 

press menu system information under starview you'll see api,what number does it say?

 

Also jer1 are you sure you did your auto scan on n.l and not telepest

has your box got 18 vents(slits on top of box)=clone, 25 vents= genuine, 13= 1st generation

dont think there has been a code change in dublin because the firmware you have on wont autoroll,but if you can press menu then key in 1570 and go to nagravision and tell me what the codes are 00=a9-86-6e-ea-39-ea-09-49
01=9e-40-85-78-e7-82-10-06

 

They are the codes alright. The second one I can see on screen the first one I put in prior to the second and stored.
