Yeah sony has fre online play as well. Well at leats for ps2 they do they might change it for the ps3 but I doubt it. But he is just stating that Wii is free as well...

 

I think big N-ten had to put the Wii at a profitable price to bank in hey lets face it Sony will be bankin money with 600 dollar consoles and Micro is bankin in 400 off the 360 so I can see why they asked for a little more and really they probably could have charged 300 for the Wii , if they wanted to , they need a nice profit comin to compete.

 

Yo ps3 dosent make money of their consoles they loose money. They mmake their money of of video games.

 

yeah well when they recoop they will make alot of money by 2007 or 8 ,they will lose money for the cost they put into it at launch and for awhile your right Face

 

Yeah and in the long run they will make a fortune off of it.

 

hey dazila, true i've had a ps2 and xbox and have never watched a dvd on either of them so yes that doesn't matter about not having a dvd player in it. Lets not sit here and say $250 is pocket change to everyone, it wouldn't break my bank but its still more than i'd like to pay. Plus the games, i highly doubt that stupid Wii sports is worth $50 so anyone arguing that its a great throw in is an idiot. the baseball game is only homerun derby, and unless 2 or 3 friends have wiimotes i doubt any of those sports games will have a lasting appeal and i doubt they have a season or some mode like that. It would be nice is 2k didn't own the rights to make baseball games with the mlbpa because their baseball games suck, and baseball games could be awesome for the Wii and that would probaly be the thing that would bring me to get one, that and being able to download the old games free, after someone learns how to hack them. Another Mario baseball game with more characters or a simpsons baseball game would be awesome, or if they do get GTA like i see them might on ign.

 

yes true wii sport dont look that great but id love to play 2 players in it but on gamespot wii sports is ranked 2nd out of 32,768 games and twilight princess on wii is 1st lol maybe nintendo will finally defeat microsoft and sony in video games

 

Wii sports would be fun with a lot of people but by your self maybe not.

 

Yeah thats ussaly with most sport games besides motorracing its much more interesting then playing against a computer

Playing that console on a small tv under 68cm will suck as you need to move around but im alright my 108cm plasma is good enough and you need to have room like with the eyetoy at least 1m on back right left and 1 - 2m infront of you

Like if someone is "out-of-shape" I think they will have a hard time playing it. Well for some game's.

FREE ONLINE PLAY. 250 usd is cheap not to mention the games are cheap to.

60 bucks for a blue ray disk right? anyway wii games will stay at 50 so i dont care how much the wii is nor its controllers. its gonna be the best system.

 

Yeah 60 for most games. That does depend on where you live though.
