My son's DS lite shell is broken. I know you can buy the shell and replace it. But after viewing the instruction on the net, I don't think I can do it correctly. Can I have it replace by a professional?

    thank you

If it's still under warranty, mail it off.

i wouldnt really ship it to somebody unless you really trust them. if you cant do it because you think you will break it, maybe let a friend fix it and show him the instructions. it just takes a lot of time and carefullness. it would also be a great experience. =P or ask your son if he would want to and watch him to make sure nothing breaks, im sure itll be a fun experience too

I reckon you should sell the old one. People buy broken Ds's on Ebay. Since the DS is not very good, I think you should get a PSP. Much better faster, more graphic power, bigger screen, better games, no tacky stuff, internet, movies, music and much more.

As previously stated, if it's still under warranty you can send it to Nintendo and they'll fix it. You could also take it back to the store you bought it from.

And Dil, thanks for the worthless fanboy post, blow off.

Watch the fanboy stuff - this is the Nintendo DS forum and all5174 had a specific question on how to fix theirs - not what to buy.
