Nintendo ds game hack

my daughter was playing on line with her ds lite playing animal crossing and i think the game was hacked as it does not work at all, the console will power up and then nothing happens when you try to play the game. What if anything can i do to get the game back so she can play it.

Will another game work in the DS? If not, your DS has the problem.

If another game works OK in the DS, then the game cart may have gone bad and the manufacturer may be able to help you. I don't know about the game data, though.

 

yes other games work just fine in the ds, my son has the same game and she played it in her ds and it works just fine. Is it possible to be hacked and ruin an original game?

 

Anything's possible I guess but the program ROM is a protected area.

More likely that the cart's just gone bad.
