Please could someone tell me what the difference is between the US & UK DS lite.

I can get hold of a DS Lite from US but have heard that the wireless doesnt work in the UK, i know the power charger is different and i can easily get hold of one of those from flea-bay, but dont want to get this and find on xmas day that there are bits that wont work due to region?

Please could someone let me know.

    Thanks

hmmm - I reckon you will be fine tbh. Infrastructure should certainly work. I'd be surprised if ad hoc doesn't as well and when you look at the number of imported machines sold on ebay you don't see any listing them as only compatible with the wireless region of issue. The games can be played on any DS as well even though they are regional issues.

I can't give you specific UK vs US DS lite details, but I do know that the US wireless standards leave out channels 12 and 13 from the wireless routers. So in turn, the US DS lites may only connect to wireless routers that have channels 1-11, while the UK ones have 1-13. Something to consider, but this is just speculation based on what I know about UK vs US wireless.
