Hi everybody I was just wondering what are the differences between Nintendo DS and Psp? Can you do anything with a Nintendo ds other than play games like a psp can play movies? Whats the DS's best model to get?

there are lots of diffrences. DS has two touch screens, PSP has one widescreen. They both have WiFi play, they both have microphones, PSP has an analog stick (hurts your thumb if you ask me) and they have completly diffrent game librarys, I personaly prefer DS because while PSP is more powerful, most of its games are strait ports of PS2 games. DS games are mostly unique and can be very inventive. DS doesn't play multimedia out of the box but you can get an adapter such as M3 that lets you plug in memory cards, or that datel hard drive, or a flash cartrige like G6. As for which model DS, its pretty much DS and DS lite, DS lite being smaller with brighter screens and backlight settings. DS lite is $130 and PSP is $200. DS games are also $30-$35 except for the budget oens, while PSP games are around $40. I say get a DS lite.

Thanks guys. The reason i was interested in the ds was for the new mario. Is there a difference in graphics compared to older nintendo units?

I always feel weird using the DS microphone...

I played through Pheonix Wright and only used when required, even though you can play the whole game yelling "Hold it!" "Objection!" and "Take that!"

ya there is a graphics difference. The graphics are close to N64 graphics. haven't you seen a DS game before?

It's a bit higher than N64 graphics. Just compare Super Mario 64 on DS with the original.

and if you ask me, I think it's stupid to compare them, both the systems and the companies are completely different, if you like one you buyt that, if you like both (like me) buy both.

acidmagna and nbubbles banned from site - brother and sister double act raking up very old threads and being utterly and completely pointless, over and over and over again, despite nbubbles being temp-banned for 2days. maybe now this forum can get back to normal
