    Nintendo Gamecube DISK READ ERROR

    [bold]"Game Play / No Disc"[/bold]

    is what I get when I try to play any games in its not modded or anything like that it just stopped working please point me in the right direction

    ah, lol, j/k. NEwayz, I dont' really get what you said... so your GC is not modded and it wont play backup games ? ( well, d'oh )

    or maybe ur GC just stopped working out of the blue ? then its time to replace your lens... which will result in a pretty huge bill..

    neither way, try to rephrase your question. It will increase the number of replies you'll have, cheers.

    You're trying to play original copies, correct? Not back-ups? If that's the case and you're getting that message, try cleaning the lens with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. If that doesn't help, your lens is probably shot.

    I only ever get that when I play my backup of Super Mario Sunshine but it recovers.

    Have u handled ur GC well when u have putted discs in? putted disc in fiercely? if so, then check does it even spin discs well, try putting ur cube 90-180 decrees angle when u play, if it works that way, disc holder may be diagonal, try to fix somehow.

    And of course discs have to be clean and mostly scratchless(it's not a LP player :D )
