nkpatcher install on xbox v 1.1

hey i put a 160gb hd in my box with a softmod but can only access 137 of it. i heard the that the nkpatcher can fix the size limit by patching the kernel. i tried running the xbe like a regular app but i dont see a difference. it goes to a blank screen then loads my dash back up. can someone tell me the proper way to install the patch?

Some bios only allow 137 so you need to flash different BIOS then it should work

 

yeh tocool4u is right. your bios only supports 137gb u need a new bios which supports bigger hdd use xbtool to edit your bios.

@ is it ok to flash the bios with a softmod? i never tried that.
