No ASPI Adapter available

    I have been used Smart Ripper 2.41 for years without any problem even with above message until last week my PC crashed. Now I have the Giga Byte GA-81PE1000 mother board in my system CPU is 2.80GHz, 1Gib Ram, OS WINs XP PRO SP2. I reinstalled Smart Ripper 2.41 and tried out and found out that I got this message " No ASPI Adapter available " Do you know why I got this message ?

    Need help please.

    I download the zipped ASPI-Adapter file. After unzip I got some *.bat file. I ran the INSTASPI.BAT, and a message box shows it installed and asked re-boot. I re-baooted my PC, but I still get the error messsage No-ASPI... thing.

    What do I miss ?????
