I know, same old same old but I need to ask:
When I play the original Avi file the video and audio are fine, but when I convert to dvd using TMPGEnc or DVDSanta I end up with fine video but NO audio, none! I even used head phones and turned the volume to full(it was scary thinking I could get a deafening spike), but nothing but a bit of hum and hiss.
This is what GSpot shows for audio in the original Avi:
    mpeglayer3 (mp3) (0x0055) ISO/MPEG>123 kb/s (61/ch, stereo)>48000 Hz
This is what it shows after conversion to m2v or Vob:
    na. na. na.
    Can anyone help? Thanks, Wally

The audio in your AVI Is Probably VBR MP3 and many encoders do not support this audio Format so what you have to do is Decompress the audio in your AVI file before you Convert it to DVD.....

If you PM me with your e-mail address I can send you a small tool that will decompress the audio in your AVI file for you....

    Cheers
