Am using Nero 8. A month ago all was OK, now after burning DVD's they have no audio at all. What's happened, who can help?
Not very much. I'v tried reinstalling Nero 8 a new, but with the same result. After burning images are perfect, but completely silent. I've tried , before burning, changing the audio request from automatic to stereo or Dolby, still the same: no sound. Yesterday I also downloaded K-lite-codec: nothing changed. Right now I am re-trying to re-install Nero once more again..
I hadn't used Nero in quite a while. The other day I used Nero Vision 5 (from Nero v8.0) to convert an Xvid to DVD. I then used DVDShrink to create an .iso and used imgBurn to burn it. I had the same problem as you Hildegard - no sound. I'm interested to find out if it's something with Nero or a problem somewhere else. Sorry I'm not any help.
did you use nero recode and/or dvd shrink on the dvd? if so check what audio was ripped out or not (whats ticked etc.).
Dubu, I am now of the idea that it's perhaps just because of that it's a Xvid that it's not working. Yesterday, after re installing Nero 8 again, a "normal" .avi burned OK + sound and all! And the Xvid remained without sound. So perhaps that was the problem?!
