Hi , I am trying to make a vcd out of an .avi with TMPGENC and I dont have an audio decompressor...

Virtualdub gives me that message when I try to extract the audio from the video file..

    What do I need?

Or you could just search and download the AC3 codec. Just search AC3 codec in google and you should find it to download.

Now free from anymore codec problems? I doubt it.

Yeah, probably is AC3. VDub requires an ACM decompressor, TMPGEnc can use a dshow one if you increase the directshow input priority.
